UPDATE: The Tim Pepper Tour has added a date in our area. Tim will also be playing at Cultural Delight in downtown Beckley, West Virginia, starting at 5pm Wednesday, August 5th. Come and have a bite to eat and listen to some great, live music! Click here for location (across from the courthouse on Main Street).

Tim Pepper is coming to southern West Virginia. Tim is doing a house show tour of the United States and he will be playing at the As You Like It Café on Thursday, August 6 at 7pm.

Tim is an old friend from my days in South Africa (though he’s US-born and a Florida State fan –if nothing’s changed, poor guy– but I’m sure he favors the right rugby team). He lives in Nashville now, pursuing his dream.

We used to play a lot of basketball and generally have a blast together (with our brothers) in Durban –truly one of the greatest cities on earth. I haven’t seen Tim in 15 years. We’re excited to see him and to hear him perform.

He is a roots-bluesy, singer-songwriter, you can have a listen to his new record here. The concert will be a family-friendly event so bring the kids and enjoy an intimate concert from a future star.
