If you want to buy a good board game that helps teach your kids economics and is really fun then see here. I got to play this twice over the weekend and it was great fun. My wife, whom we all thought invincible, is no longer undefeated.
Speaking of the former Queen of Catan, she continues to post on the subject of our porch swing/bird sanctuary. Mr. and Mrs. Robin, along with the little eggs-now-Cheepers, have been a fun point of interest for us.
Looking out our windows is kind of like watching the Appalachian Animal Planet. While I have been typing three or four deer ran by, we see bunnies ten or so times a day, and on it goes. Now we have the pleasure of the Robin family virtually in our home.
