A Paradise of Lies

My most recent Rabbit Room post is up (it had been laying in bed all day).

It’s called The Corners of Our Eyes and features a staged, thematic picture taken by my brother, Josiah, starring John Paice along with some other dude. (You might remember John as the winner of every random drawing ever done here and at my wife’s blog.) Also, for some reason it is there titled as “Corner of our Eyes,” as if our eyes have a singular corner for the two of them. I’m not sure how that happened, but some one’s gonna lose their job and pension and set of matching towel.

Seriously. I hope you enjoy/are challenged by the post. It is something I want to learn and love down deep.

In other news: My entry did not win the 22 Word Children’s Story Competetion, much to my wife’s surprise. But you can vote for the three finalists, which are all good (but one says “poop” and “pee” in it, so that may be outside the boundaries of appreciation for some of you fine readers who wish I would grow up and stop laughing at things like that). I am just honored to have been considered. All the contestants were just so good this year. It’s an honor to be in the same hemisphere as many of them. What am I wearing? Gabriel. Who is Gabriel, is he an Italian designer? No, but he has a store with his brothers which is the beans.
